Just got this bad boy yesterday and I’m like a kid at Christmas! πŸ˜„ The delight I felt firing up my old love, Desert Strike… Goosebumps! Seriously impressed with this bit of kit, and I’m enjoying exploring the options as much as the many many games! The effort put in by the community with GarlicOS and the ROM packs is simply magnificent.

It’s a well-known device/brand in the retro gaming community. You can also buy it direct from anbernic

Get it from Amazon if you are going to buy one. Anbernic is in China so their customer support on a $70-80 device is barebones to non existent.

Hundreds, if not thousands, across all kinds of retro consoles! Atari all the way through Gameboys, NES up to PS1. The default OS seems ok, but I only tried it briefly before switching over to GarlicOS which everyone seemed to be keen on. This guide was super helpful in getting me started.

How’s the size? I have the Miyoo mini and the size hurts my hands if I p play for too long.

Side by side pic here. I was quite surprised at just how small this thing is, and if the Miyoo is even smaller, I’m glad I opted for this!

Honestly I might pick this one up just for the size upgrade. Seems a bit nicer for longer sessions. Battery life okay?
