My first (and for now, only) full playthrough was around that ballpark, and I really took my time to wander everywhere, read all the books and such. Now I’m wondering I might’ve missed stuff! Uh oh!

You probably have missed stuff! When I started my second playthrough I couldn’t believe how much more content there was. And I haven’t even finished act 3 in either playthrough…

Me and my partner started our second play through. We cheesed and got Karlach early, literally when we got to the grove. So there whole bits of dialogue that are new.
We found parts of the map in the forge we missed. Some side quests we missed. Characters.
We are doing things in a different order this time. Like the first time at the forge, nere was already dead. This time he was alive and we managed to get him out from behind the cave in.
We’re actually talking to the companions in camp.
We didn’t get rejected by astarion at the party, but rejected him instead.
La’ziel didn’t reject me at the part. But I rejected her.
So much stuff is different.
Being a bard is fun. I played at the party and volo and alfira joined in on the performance.
So much fun to see all the different stuff.

Honestly, Id probably won’t be touching act 3 again until the eventual release of definitive edition. The act 3 ending and what happened to kalarch is such a bummer.

I’m still contemplating if I should lie to myself and say “I can totally do an asshole playthrough this time!” only to end up doing the exact same things as I did last time because I can’t stand making lines of code sad.

Dark Urge made it easy for me. I kept wanting to do an “evil game” but would always lose heart and pick the nicer choices.

And then my group made me the Dark Urge character on a different playthrough. And once I realized some of the evil shit was beyond my control, I just kinda said “Fuck it” and went evil as possible.

10/10 recommend. It’s so OTT it’s hilarious.

Ah, the Skyrim effect – “this playthrough will be different, I won’t even touch the beacon!”

I have started Skyrim around 5 times just to make something other than a stealth archer. I now have the stealthiest orc you’ll ever see.

Is that because we won’t see the stealthiest orc?

As long as you don’t close the game, your changes don’t get synchronized to Steam Cloud. So you can head to your local Steam Cloud folder and copy the savegame from there.

Windows: C:\Programme (x86)\Steam\userdata
macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/userdata
Linux: ~/.local/share/Steam/userdata

In that folder the BG3 saves will be under Your_User_ID/1086940

Or you can download your savegame from here: https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage

If you did close the game though, Steam Cloud won’t have your savegames anymore either and even the Steam Support won’t be able to restore them.

Also take this as your sign to start making regular backups of your files ;)

I’ve got it on GoG, and honestly, meh. We weren’t far into Act 1, so not a big loss, more of a facepalm moment.

I have 161 hours in Cuphead on the Steam Deck, I have about that much on the Switch too. I have spent over 300 hours playing Cuphead. Holy shit. I knew it was a lot, but damn.

I have S ranked every boss multiple times and got every achievement on both Switch and Deck.

That’s absurd, isn’t if?
