196 is a (mostly, there are definitely exceptions, as the rule doesn’t require it) queer positive shitposting community with a surprisingly deep culture. During the reddit API protest, 196 shut down temporarily, which led the members of 196 to find other places post, the 196 community on lemmy being one of them. There is only one rule to this community however: if you visit, you must post.
