Here’s a quick thought about atheism.

So, what exactly is atheism? Is it a belief in nothing? Is it the realism of modern times or the abandonment of old traditions and customs? For me, atheism is basically believing in myself as a human being and member of society. It’s believing that we’re responsible for a lot in life, and that this isn’t influenced by some powers looking down on us from Mount Olympus. Religion isn’t all bad. It brings moral values, cohesion, restraint, and a sense of community. But people have tried religion. We remember the dark centuries, the greed, the hatred, and the immense selfishness of religions. I don’t think you have to say you’re religious if you believe in higher things, fate, or predestination. But never lose faith in yourself or your ability to chart your own course. Atheism reflects that for me.

This is fair enough, but it’s your own belief system. Atheism is the absence of belief in God’s, nothing more.

You’re free to thoughtfully pick and choose your own beliefs, in the same way religious people unconsciously do because their scriptures are so dense and contradictory.

You are absolute right and I think that maybe should stay under the most Text about religion, or someone is offended.

Yeah, its not all bad, everyone must look at the History of Relegion and his decades of reign. The question is, do we need this in the modern age?
