It’s a shame because Edge is actually pretty solid now. I just refuse to use it because I don’t trust Microsoft (and try to stick with Gecko wherever possible).

Chrome or Edge (and also metioned Opera) , it is the same engine the same restrictions on extensions the same anti features to lock down the web.

If you want to enjoy free web switch to Firefox.

I’d like to see Mozilla really focus on Firefox instead of these other services and projects. Android app especially could use significant attention.

I installed the edge browser on my android phone to use thier excellent voice to text for audiobooks. Having great features is a seelling point. Now, if they became more privacy focused I might consider switching, but Firefox is my main for now.

Agreed. The browser is good but I don’t trust it for regular usage due to privacy concerns.

I used it at first as a stripped down, not Google, chrome. Then it feels like they keep adding stuff to it. I don’t need the prompted coupons on every site.
