Should be upstairs getting ready for bed, and finding an assortment of long form interesting articles for a friend, but just had some… spooky news so am flapping online at people & trying to settle.
Will move to bed shortly, but imagine I’ll be restless so may be around to chat for a bit.

Yoooo . Hope everything is ok regarding the spooky news. Hmm Idk what to be reading but if you come across anything good let me know. It would be nice to have something to read. Or to watch. Not an article but someone posted that short story The Machine Stops (?) a while back and it was excellent.
Hi @toothpicks, if you’re interested, “The Machine Stops” was made into an episode of Out of the Unknown way back in 1966. The quality of the video is not great, but anyway, here’s a link to it on the Internet Archive (it helps if you imagine you’re watching an old episode of Doctor Who).

Are we waving our hands in the air like we don’t care? Typing on the phone during an arduous crap? Fidgety? On your honkers? Sitting mostly bit up & about for snacks or to pee or whatever?
Spooky is… a whole lot of spatialtemporal loops giving the impression of a great many romances occurring all at once.
One of these things at a time is plenty unsettling enough, thank you very much universe.

Hey! What’s up? I am reading a book about history of guitars and listening to loud music heh.
@toothpicks Oh nice, I just finished writing a huge post about my issues with playing to much games and that I want to break free from it to focus on Video Editing so doing alright.
Does your book go in depth about the different types of guitars like Electric ones? As well as why they sound different than eachother?
Ahhh cool. It’s really hard to have structure. Are you getting work in video editing these days? I haven’t been seeing many editing jobs lately round these here parts. Yeah it’s sorta the history of designs and stuff idk it’s mostly pictures, I don’t agree with the layout of the book tbh but I’m only half paying attention to it so it doesn’t matter I guess. 😂
