Maybe they should have called it “Temporary Test Kitchen” to drive the point home with even more of a sledgehammer.

I suspect that some of it is that the author isn’t used to apps that are already installed no longer running, but it sounds like this, like most AI things, doesn’t just run on the local Android device, but leverages off-machine computational capacity, and you can’t expect that to be permanent.

A “test kitchen” is a thing. It’s like a research lab but for food. Most food publications have test kitchens.
