We got some here last month but it thankfully melted quickly and weโ€™re now having a fairly decent fall.

So to me, miserable weather is when itโ€™s sunny and hot, perfect weather is when itโ€™s cold and wet, preferably a storm rolling in.

Anyone else like miserable weather and doesnโ€™t see an issue with the image?

Fall and winter are the best in Oklahoma. I fucking LOVE the end of the year. We get one or two good snows most years, but it never snows enough to need to salt the roads all the time. Itโ€™s 40-60 degrees throughout the entire season. Itโ€™s one of our dry seasons so most days are sunny. You can spend basically the entire season outdoors in normal clothes.

Iโ€™d move to Seattle or Portland or Denver for the weather, but thereโ€™s no way my line of work could afford the cost of living there. Also, my wifeโ€™s family is all here and sheโ€™s not keen to move 2,000 miles away. Canโ€™t blame her for that.

Canโ€™t relate to your latter paragraph, I am all too keen to be away from my family, I moved to the PNW 6 years ago, itโ€™s got itโ€™s problems, I love it here, though, might retire towards the coast if I can eventually afford it.
