Description of image: Meme image. I canā€™t believe he didnā€™t cry during Titanic! Do men even have feelings? The man is crying at Picard crying in the mud.

In the first episode of Picard, playing chess with Dataā€¦ ā€œBecause I donā€™t want the game to end.ā€ Man, on so man levels, it was a few weeks before I could even say that line without getting choked up.

I grew up as a little boy watching every TNG with my dad, I donā€™t want the game to end either.

I laughed at titanic.

You want to talk moments that kicked you in the soul? Lore saying ā€œI love youā€¦ brotherā€ as Data is deactivating him.

Maybe it just hits too close to home after being in a similar situation with my own evil brother. But thatā€™s one of those moments that always catches me off guard. Especially since the rest of the episode isnā€™t all that great, so itā€™s easy to let your guard down.

While Iā€™m feeling nostalgic, hereā€™s a few other honorable mentions in the ā€œI wasnā€™t prepared to feel emotions todayā€ category:

  • Ivanova after getting healed - Babylon 5
  • I didnā€™t count on being happy - Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
  • Demonaā€™s password - Gargoyles

ā€œFamilyā€ s4e2. Admittedly, havenā€™t rewatched this one for years. Could use a little gut punch.

It has a great effect if you binge The Best of Both Worlds while stoned right before it too. Can confirm.

Taking your advice. Forgot about Shelby. Very full circle. Thanks for the tip.
