Was life at any point in our past free?
I don’t think so.
And if you go back to caveman times before money, we still paid with blood.
If anything life is moving into a situation where it might actually be free. But that does not mean freedom.
We were actually more free in caveman times.
Its a paradox. The more comfortable we get, the more safe we get, and the less we have to pay for this, in the end we will pay with less freedom.
And yet, no one is rioting. Everyone is simply allowing this robbery to happen unchallenged.
I’m too tired, sick and miserable to riot tbh.
If I were younger I would try.
I remember when they did the math and average pay today is lower than it was in the Great Depression. I see videos on YouTube about surviving on 1 dollar a day and it has millions of views. People are eating nettle soup the stuff people starved on in the English created famines in Ireland
It’s cool though could be worse. Still slightly better than Slave or Serf
