I have been trying out various lemmy apps for android and have come across an annoying quirk. If I make a post using one lemmy app (liftoff) it does not appear in my profile on another lemmy app (Jerboa). Same seems to be true for comments and subscriptions.

I am not sure if this is the expected behavior. Maybe I am missing something or misunderstanding how my profile’s data is stored.

My intuition says that if I am logged into the same server with the same user my profile should be the same, regardless of the app I am using. Is this not the case? If so, why not?
