Private company Terminal Autonomy started serial production of the AQ-400 kamikaze UAV. It has a range of 750km, can cruise at 140 km/h and is able to carry a 32kg payload, increasable to 72kg. They can produce 100 per month, aiming for 500.

The first batch has been delivered.

This is what Ukraine needs. Expensive high tech weapons are great, but against an enemy like Russia, inexpensive high volume of fire is really important to maintain.

Agreed, I think for now Ukraine should scale back to purely defensive operations only attacking behind enemy lines with long range weapons such as these. Much cheaper in terms of weapons/lives, and as long as Russia works the meat grinder, the war will lose popularity in Russia. No nation can keep up an offensive war forever. It will be a long haul, but one that I think Ukraine can win.

32kg is ballpark of Shahed warhead, or a bit less than 155mm shell (45kg)
