I don’t see it as much different from things like the Firefox logo tbh. As long as it’s being done by regular supporters and not the party itself though, sure.
Political ads should not be tollerated. As ads are not welcomed in lemmy. Its like free advertisments for them that arent registered.
Pretty telling how you started griefing before you even knew what it was. There are soooo many logos on the canvas man and you’re dead set on trolling a handful of people who want a tiny bit more cooperation and collaboration on the world stage.
I could even understand if Volt was in any way a powerful or extremist party, but you clearly have never even heard of them before.
I really dont get why you are dooing this. Instead of painting somthing of your own you are destroing what others do. Instead of having a political view you are just forbidding others theirs. And for that you are even braking the rules with mutiple accounts. We could be working together here but your contribution ist just bad moods. Just let people live man.

There is no such thing as “neutral space” and there is no such thing as apolitical art. And why don’t you have a problem with other obviously political elements on the Canvas, for example country flags?
Country flags are for the pride of the citizen. Its not like “Hey vote for xyz” its just like a soccer/football event with those flags.
It’s me and my friends. Please just reconsider your choices. You could add something beatiful and time is running out. But instead you are making your own rules of beeing not political (what is strange considering that like 30% of the space is already VERY political) and destroing the work of others. You are not fighting fire with fire. You are fighting a flower with mud. And for no reason aswell considering that there are like 500 people and half of the space is still virgin.
Your space is the only REAL political ads. a DIRECT “Vote for xyz” poster ad.
