That’s right folks the year is drawing to a close so it’s time to nominate and vote for your 2023 Hexies! These are the Hexbears you think exemplify what it means to be a real Hexbear. Here’s how it works:
-
Pick from the below categories
-
Nominate someone for that category by tagging them
-
If you are nominated respond to the nomination to accept it
-
Most upbeared accepted nomination in each category wins!
What do you win? The esteem of your fellow Hexbearian comrades of course. What more could you want?
The categories for this year’s 2023 Hexie awards are:
-
Most Influential Hexbear of 2023
-
Most likely to be called a tankie offline
-
Best in Community Engagement
This year we have a special bonus category to commemorate the year we federated;
- Best non local user
Alright comrades that’s it from me, be sure and do your democratic duty and for your 2023 Hexie winners and congrats in advance to the winners of this highly coveted and prestigious award!
spoiler
As a bit though
Can I have a participation trophy to piss off the chuds?
You are automatically nominated for the hidden 5th category, “Most Likely To Post Cute Pics of your Pet”
i have nominated you to gain access to all 7 dragonballs
(for real tho you’re like the most positive and cheerful person with your posts around here)
1 - Most influential hexbear
@UlyssesT@hexbear.net for personally killing Kissinger in his first day of logging off. At this pace we’ll have full communism by February
I nominate @black_mold_futures@hexbear.net for Most Influential Hexbear of 2023 and every year henceforth
They post under @privatized_sun@hexbear.net now 07
Lmao I have in fact never been called a tankie offline, or I don’t remember it now? I am probably too scary to be rude to in person though. You’d need to find people who are incredibly online AND give off a vibe that you won’t punch them in the face before they’d ever utter the word.
I am honoured though. I certainly do not hide being a communist outside the workplace.
- @Melina@hexbear.net, for better or worse. Like, think about it: they must be responsible for the most uses of the “Block community” button on Hexbear.
- @Alaskaball@hexbear.net
- There’s a few different ways you could take this tbh. Like, posting numbers, commenting numbers, starting things like bookclubs, etc. I think in terms of “Person who generates the most engagement in the community” then I think @RNAi@hexbear.net with his incredible posting (and commenting!) numbers is a big influence.
- @Aru@lemmygrad.ml
Melina is the only user that I have literally fully blocked. I have no regrets. Undoubtedly influential
