Literally just changed istance from world for this exact reason.

This is why people need to move to small instances. I moved to aussie.zone even though I am not Australian. The experience is so great and snappy that I love it.

It’s helping me take breaks so lemmy doesn’t become a full on mindless addiction like reddit was so that’s been good. Often not sure if it’s world or my app (connect) most of the time but ah well.

Really earning the comparison to old reddit, ya know? I’m so proud

And ofc it goes down again after… I use my own instance which means the only problem is half the instances are on .world so I can’t access them when world goes down I wish people would use alternative instances more
