I noticed that after switching to boost for lemmy the downvote count no longer shows and out of morbid curiosity I like to know the upvote/downvote count where it is tracked. Is there a way to restore those vote counts in the app?

I want to know this as well. This is the only reason why I often switch between browser feddit and Boost.

Weird, I can see all the up and down votes.

I’ve heard it’s dependent on your Lemmy provider. But not sure

I tried it with lemm.ee, sh.itjust.works and db0. None of them shows the up and downvotes, it’s not an instance thing.

Just to clarify: we are talking about showing the up and downvotes separately, as in 2 individual numbers, not just the sum of them.

Like this: 5 upvotes, 2 downvotes.

If it was an instance specific issue it wouldn’t have worked on jerboa. The fact that it did and no longer does, means that it is boost causing the issue.
