When the video is nearly finished this little box pops up prompting you about what video is going to play next, could we get a button to mark the current video as a favourite?
I dont really think it would fit there. The whole box is about the next episode. Putting an element there which is supposed to be for the current episode could be confusing.
But an additional box or just the favorite symbol next to that in another box could be nice.
How are you ingesting YouTube(?) videos? Seems handy!
You could try tubearchivist plus tubearchivist-jf, which are supposed to pull YouTube videos then input metadata automatically.
However, I don’t know why on rare occasions the plugin gets stuck and I need to manually trigger updates. But overall speaking, it saves a ton of time in manually importing the video. Also, they don’t seem to handle super long videos too well. I use them to archive 15-20 hours long video game movies and they often stop in the middle of processing, though it could be because my NAS is not powerful.
Why put it in the notification about the next video? Wouldn’t it be a better idea to have the favourite button in the player overlay, perhaps in a context menu?
