Maybe it’s the perspective, but it looks like an adult man’s head on a kid’s body.

His head is overinflated with the self-indulgent smugness that comes from downloading Linux several times daily.

If I had a nickel for every time someone said that about me…

Well, I would have ten cents. But you have to admit it’s weird that it happened twice.

I was looking confused at that for a while, thinking “Isn’t a nickel 10 cents?” Then I realised that was a dime.

Man, even in the source video he looks like a kid with a man’s head. Creepy.

Yeah no, I don’t care personally. However when I inevitably play tech support it sucks.

Not all the anti cheat systems will work in Linux, some vendors will flat out ban you even when you can get the software working.

Anyways Fortnight works if you use the https://lutris.net/ system. Lutris is pretty cool, it’s mostly just a frontend that does all the configuration for you. If you create an account, you can almost one click install most of your games.

i’ll try that out. once i get my full list of games working, there’s just my T300 to worry about.

this answer is copypasted from my original answer to the orher fella that gave you the advice: this is wrong. Epic executives have an unressonable hate against linux, meaning they deny support for fortnite spesifically even rhpugh they can enable it.

2 years left still. Hopefully by that time Linux gains enough popularity that developers consider supporting it. At the very least Ubuntu.

Applies to Windows users, too, honestly.

I have a laptop that I run Windows 10 LTSC for the rare occasion I need Windows for something.

Didn’t LTSC end of life?

What do you mean?

Microsoft stops giving updates to end of life products. Unless it’s LTSC 21H2, you might want to consider installing the regular release of Windows. The LTS version doesn’t allow you to migrate away from it, so it won’t upgrade. You have to reinstall Windows.
