I just had a paranoid thought that Ronald Moore has done a deal with Paramount so that when For All Mankind hits the 2020s in Season 6, we’ll get the Bell Riots and the start of World War III, then jump ahead through the war years until we introduce the character of Zefram Cochrane, with the last shot of Season 7 being Bozeman, Montana and the shimmering of a transporter effect, to the tune of “Oobie Doobie”.

I think I drank too much coffee.

I would love For All Mankind to lead into Star Trek. How awesome of a crossover universe would that be?

I don’t think you drank too much coffee, I think it was a perfect amount.

That’s how I’ve explained it to friends – “It’s the Star Trek prequel series you actually want to watch.”

I feel like it could also lead into the expanse, early Mars…

Yeah FAM 100% feels like Expanse: The Prequel to me but totally different in tone and format. Just this last season I think we witnessed the genesis of the OPA and MCR.

There’s a colony ship in The Expanse named Mark Watney, so I like to think it’s the same timeline

I just started watching this a week ago. Halfway through season 3. Fucking amazing show!

this would be nice but it would be complicated due to the fact that (RDM says) Star Trek: Phase II (along with TOS and TNG) exists in the For All Mankind universe. maybe he’ll at least fill in some details from Phase II though :)
