Funny that this is what meta gets investigated for when their data collection allows for the unjust prosecution of women who have the audacity to make a choice.

Many many moons ago, I was traveling for business and I met a guy who worked for Meta. He worked in their online sales department for users. I thought to myself, “Why do you need that? Who would buy anything through Facebook?”
A lot of people, apparently.
Hopefully FreeTaxUSA didn’t do this too.
There’s a Senate report available in the article with their findings. You could check there. I didn’t see FreeTaxUSA in other linked articles, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t do the same thing.
Could browser extensions such as Privacy Badger have prevented this? I know PB replaced social media icons and widgets on websites.
