I was just interested to see what the reaction would be in this forum.
I thought the politics here was progressive honestly. Now I don’t know what it is.
Clearly the joke appeals to the audience of The Daily Show, which is not insignificant in US demographics.
I am not from the US and I have no idea who these people are and what are they doing here. I am genuinely confused if this is real or a skit.
Shit posters are often some of the most insightful on issues like this. Comedians are not above picking sides when it comes to the culture wars. I would have thought the idea of Taylor Swift as president would be better received here than this. Not least of all because of how much it would piss off Trump. Even just more memes about it would be encouraging.

Besides, the two times the US elected entertainers as president, it ended in unmitigated disaster.
