I wish if you posted this shit on social media, you got your firearms taken away.
I live in a place with sensible firearms laws, so this is totally a thing. Gun owners are licensed, and part of that license is a “good character” and “legitimate purpose” check. Self defence isn’t a legitimate purpose, so if you start running your mouth on Facebook about shooting people on your property there is a tip line people can send reports to, and you can expect a visit from the local police. Similarly, getting caught DUI will violate the good character requirement and you’ll need to surrender your guns - you’d better be able to account for all of the guns registered in your name or you’ll end up with a much more serious conviction
I feel like they should take guns away simply for poor trigger discipline.
Most of the world doesn’t even have guns for their citizens. But I have switched my opinion a little bit on this topic. I used to think nobody should be allowed to have a weapon at home. But after seeing the constant failure of police departments to protect people, and the increased crime levels, I now think it’s actually not a bad idea to own a gun. Nobody else is going to protect your family.
- No trigger discipline
- No hands on the wheel
- Open container of alcoholic beverage
- Speeding egregiously
- Driving a Nissan
All checks out.
Do you buy an Altima as a gateway into this kind of behavior? Or is the Altima the way you show the world you engage in this kind of behavior?
Good good, it is an Altima, isn’t it? I didn’t dare to assume but after a bit of Googling the interior is a dead ringer for an 07-12 Altima – objectively the hooptiest of all Altimas. This guy really is a walking stereotype.
$2,000 gun and still driving a Nissan
Do you think that spending $2000 on something you enjoy like a hobby means that you should have a more expensive car?
Regardless, it’s a meme targeting the idea that Nissan drivers, especially Altima drivers, are aggressive road rage drivers and poor decision makers. Just googling “Nissan altima aggressive” shows plenty of examples of this idea.
That trigger discipline tho…
The trigger discipline, the fact that they’re holding a gun while driving, the fact that they’re holding a gun while driving on a highway, the fact that they’re holding a gun while driving on a highway and taking a photo of that situation with their other hand. All that, while driving along at what I assume is 90 miles per hour (since I assume it’s in America). And seemingly balancing a drink can (alcoholic?) on the steering wheel column.
Everything about this is awful.
Angry orchard is definitely an alcoholic drink…drunk driving at 90 with while showing off your gun…this photo just needs a hamburger to be peak America.
Ah thanks. I was struggling to even read the label of the can. Was tossing up between it being alcoholic or, based on the colouring, a high-in-caffeine drink.
Don’t forget that the hammer is cocked, making the it single action rather than double action. Much less trigger pull (length and force) required to fire.
I can’t wait for someone to do this and shoot the gun accidentally. You know it’s coming given the massive collection of accidental discharge videos on YouTube
