I don’t think English belongs on the Palestinian flag, given the region’s history.

English as the language of international protest is a well observed phenomenon even within the region,

Moreover, it’s a translation showing what the Arabic text is saying for English speakers who are protesting in solidarity to be able to understand.

The Latin alphabet has wider letters than the Arabic Abjad, and I thought it would look better if both sides of the text were equal width
