I think Fitbit app has a drink reminder, but you could use anything that has an activity reminder and make the activity getting up for a drink.

What would be most efficient?

a.) go to all store and search for “drinking reminder” b.) create a lemmy post to ask what app can remind you of drinking c.) just drink when you are thristy, since we have lived for thousands of years without needing a device to tell us we should drink

Does just drinking when thirsty keep people properly hydrated? I thought I heard the average person doesn’t drink about water.

As per a 2010 Italien study done by the european food safety authority an intake of 2.5L (men) and 2L (women) is enough

Try drinking when you are thirsty but note down how much it is and see if you hit around the mark (on hot days+exercise i am more thirsty and drink more and vice versa)
