We have the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, Mens Rugby World Cup 2023, Netball World Cup 2023, Mens Cricket World Cup 2023. And there’s probably more.
They are streaming the Women’s World Cup 2023 on BBC and ITV in the UK which you can access for free with a suitable VPN (results may vary as BBC in particular actively blocks them) or using something like Smart DNS Proxy which is a paid service, but it’s cheap and in my experience much more reliable for accessing UK channels. You could probably find some torrents of the content, but in general I have seen that the sea of media that are carried by torrents notably lack a lot of football
Yep, that’s what I meant. I’m wanting to watch this with my spouse but it’s so hard to figure out how to watch sports without having to pay hundreds for 10 different services.
honestly although we aint fuckin with reddit no more, head over to a general thread on match day at /r/soccer and see if links are posted in the comments. usually are…or let’s hope enough people move to lemmy in that time and one of the football communities is up and running with links galore.
or the glory days of reddit are relived and new sport streaming communities pop up on lemmy by that time. i have hope they will, especially as we near the first match
