I’m typing this from a 6t. No complaints with it so far, it’s far enough in that I need to replace the battery but that’s to be expected. The 6gb of ram has proved to be really helpful in ensuring that things always work and the dual sim has let me combine the work and personal phones into one.

I know it’s long in the tooth so if anyone has some recommendations for a replacement that has dual sim and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg please reply!

Yes. I believe that they actually have some of that available on the beta branch right now. Putnam has also been adding support for gpu offloading as well.

Google still runs a good chunk of my life and some of it I know I could use some of the great alternatives that others have mentioned but some of it I’m not really sure about.

Namely:
Maps
Messenger (web browser access to my texts)
Contact sync and backup
Google voice
And all the various services that let my phone operate…

Is that basically just pan fried potatoes, some seasoning, and parmesan?

A better response might be “Sorry I only work with Linux” since saying get Linux is just going to lead to more questions.

They can be. I have a supermicro 2u server that has a 12 disk backplane that I stripped of its original mobo and fans and put in my own gear. Its pretty quiet once you replace all of the stock fans with noctua.
