Probably the biggest benefit of Kane going to Munich is that speculations will be over. With renewed contract it’s not going to happen - it will be same shit all over again like in previous years, of course if he signs. Otherwise on every press conference there will be question about his future.
I hope proper time keeping will be introduced in future similarly to basketball/handball because watching a match where something is at stake is often unbearable. This is why recent World Cup was much better because in the end the game was played more or less 90 min instead of 70 min.
The ‘no trophies’ narration probably really got him unfortunately. Maybe if Haland wasn’t at City he’d feel that new goalscoring that he’d get wouldn’t last as long as Shearer. Also I was hoping that the contract with FCB will be shorter so there’s a glimmer of hope that he comes back to claim the record later on but it seems unlikely now.
It seems that transfer approach has changed to data driven so there’s higher probability that there will be less disappointments than after Bale.

Those are still early days. It was first real test of this defensive line-up, they were very shaky under pressure during first half but later on grew into it despite loosing Romeo. First 15 min the midfield wasn’t really sure how to cover spaces for defenders very often. It’s still a rough, unpolished product.
BTW this stat misses the fact that Vicario makes way better facial expressions that Raya, it’s pure gold.
This guy is a gooner if I remember correctly. Also success of Spurs is not so well received by media, doesn’t suit their narrative.
Nobody can make a rebuild in single window, even filthy rich chelsky or oil clubs. People judging this window as bad are delusional, especially that we move away from terrorist ball to playing football. Gooners were miserable for two seasons while rebuilding. With Ange this transition is so far smooth. Next month will be a real test when we start playing big guys more often.
