The show ‘The Rig’ has this as a plot device in season 2, going into season 3. Anybody else sad that sci-fi is not out pacing reality by more then a few years anymore?

  1. Don’t bring it
  2. Don’t talk about anyone or anything even remotely linked to the protest in earshot of it

Again. This bill was introduced last year, by the same person, and it died at the time because of some grassroots actions. Now, the wording is slightly different (so it can be introduced again as a “different” bill), and it’s being tried again.

I really like this one, because something fun could be done to ‘graduate’ if to a full path. My first thought would be flat top stones as a sort of gentle staircase leading over the entire circle.

Well yes, but also no.

The term pupil is used to describe an area that exists inside a three dimensional space, the eye, and while that space may not have anything that reflects light, it does contain something. The surface of the eye, known as the lens, and the liquid or ‘jelly’ that is contained inside the eye. So that area that is light reflective material would include the whites and the iris, but the inside of the eye is not just empty space. If it was, your eye would collapse like an uninflated beach ball, and you wouldn’t see very much at all. Arguably the term pupil is used to refer to the non-reflective area of the eye bordered by the iris and containing the lens.

Yes, for three reasons.

  1. I judge the color to be sure I’m not getting sick and it’s just a regular need to blow my nose.
  2. I check for the presence of any blood, since I work around materials and in environments that can cause alot of dry air, giving me a higher incidence of nose bleeds.
  3. My work environments are very dusty, and if Inhave alot of black or grey dust when I blow my nose, I know I need to clean my airways when I get the chance so the dust isn’t in there longer then a day.

Sounds like a ‘fade to black’, as I call them.

Horrifying that this article is taking about the aim being taken at those that can’t flee because of being imprisoned.
