Microsoft isn’t the developer here; Bethesda, A/B, etc. are. Microsoft is working as the publisher to get these games into as many people’s hands as possible. The way they are doing this is by putting Game Pass onto as many devices as they can, and publishing those games exclusively to Xbox and Game Pass.
I happened across We Happy Few a long while back in Game Pass. I initially came into it thinking it was going to be a small indie game that would take me a day or two tops, to finish. My god it was far larger than i thought.
I got about halfway through Act 1 before a few other games caught my attention for a while, but this game always stuck in the back of my mind, and i was determined that i would return to finish it at some point.
When i did come back, it was no longer on game pass so i ended up buying the full thing with all of the DLC, and the story just sucked me in for a week! And that was just blowing through the main quests as i was so intrigued i couldn’t bear to do any side quests. I finally did beat it the other day, and started on to the first DLC. It is just as long as the main story!! I’m still having a blast playing it!
I’ve been recommending it to everyone, and to at the very least, put it in their wishlist!

Because they felt the need to have master chief at the center of the story, instead of choosing any one of the many other Spartans. As a huge halo fan (have read almost all of the books) i could have been ok with this “silver timeline” thing if they pointed to a single spot in the established lore and said, here’s where it diverged.
But instead, they slapped Halo nouns onto a generic Syfy story.
Not gonna lie, i loved Shipment for the easy 50+ kill count. When i played OG shipment, (this new one isn’t as good as the OG) it was very high kill counts: 60+ for top of the board, 30+ average. Which is the best way to progress weapons ranks. Then switch over to that other map I’m blanking on, to progress the specific kill type counters like crouched kills or longshots or mounted. 2 months of that and double weapon xps, would get you the final weapon camo.
Haven’t played CoD in a year though because i realized that’s all i wanted to play to unlock better stuff for weapons. Not even to play other maps or gametypes for those new weapons.
