I like Liftoff, but have issues with duplicate posts, blocking communities, and something like ‘you aren’t logged into X, login to comment’ when I am actually logged in. Liftoff and Jerboa both get better with each release though, and the releases are fast.

Sorry, I cannot find the comment now , one of the Android app developers responded to a ‘my phone is getting hot’ comment that caching was the problem. Perhaps this is related?

Jerboa and Liftoff both let you save posts/comments, Jerboa definitely lets you download images, I haven’t tried in Liftoff, but probably. Liftoff lets you download images too, just checked.

I love KISS, have you looked at F-Droid? You might like Discreet or Kvaesitso

Pasta aglio, olio, peperoncino. Garlic, olive oil, dried chilies. Comes together in the time it takes the pasta to cook. Grate some cheese over the top, or nutritional yeast to keep it vegetarian, and you’re done. I like to add some minced preserved lemon right before it comes off the heat.

For Reddit I used Infinity, it has been forked Here as Infinity for Everything, with lemmy support. Still in Alpha, but could be promising
