In the last two weeks of the election campaign, several prominent Catholic news outlets, periodicals, Catholic internet blogs, and other Catholic publications, some officially endorsed by the Catholic Church (mostly available by subscription only and thus only came to the attention of Catholics, thus avoiding general public scrutiny and comment) came out strongly that it was the duty of ALL Catholics to NOT support the Liberals or other left-leaning parties; and completely condemned Carney for deserting his Catholic faith, even though Carney was a regularly practicing Catholic. They all did it collectively, in what was obviously a planned, coordinated, conspiratorial centrally directed process. It was driven by the highest levels of the Catholic Church, as was made clear in many of the official Catholic sites, as the OFFICIAL viewpoint of the Catholic Church ((i.e., the Vatican). This was, I posit, the main reason for the dramatic shift in the polls, raising the Conservatives up 5 or six points.

The media condemns the foreign influence on our elections, and we tell Trump to stay out of our elections, yet we say nothing about a foreign power and foreign entity - the Pope and the Vatican - meddling in our sovereign elections.

We will never have free and fair elections from a Canadian perspective, Canadian culture, Canadian values, Canadian history, Canadian identity, as long as we allow a foreign religion-based Empire to influence them.

These are considered ‘small’ because of their footprint, not just their output. They are absolutely safe, since if they malfunction they just solidify, they do not go into melt down. It is the same technology that is used in the reactors in submarines and aircraft carriers, and believe me, those are SMALL. China is making them small enough to fit in shipping containers, to be shipped and assembled in remote communities. The one Canada is building is, however, on the larger scale of these SMR’s. China is building them by the dozens.

It is actually the technology itself that makes them part of the SMR family - far removed from the technology used in conventional large scale nuclear reactors.

And the fact that they have been used in nuclear submarines for over 50 years does NOT make the technology ‘new’. It is not just ‘talk’, it is proven, built, and tested over decades of continuous use, albeit top secret use.

It was even rumored by engineering students that there was one under the greenhouse of a Canadian university, operated in complete highest-level secrecy, been there since the '80’s. Used in the development of the reactors used in the American submarines. But that was just an unfounded rumor.

‘Christianity’ and ‘the Roman Catholic Church’ are two very different things. Christianity had very little traction in the world until a certain Roman Emperor saw his empire in decline, realized that military power alone would not keep it strong. What he needed was a borderless, stateless religious empire, with this mythical God as his power source, so he appropriated the Christian religion, made himself the leader (Pope) of it, and used religion, not military power, to control the people. To this day, the Roman Empire and the power of the Roman Emperor to rule all mankind continues under the guise of the Holly Roman Catholic Church. It has very little to do with Jesus Christ, and everything to do with the perpetuation of the dominance of the Roman Empire and the dictatorial authority of the Roman Emperor.

Justin was the right leader at the time he was elected, but his ‘best before’ date had certainly come and gone. Politics really wears one down. American politics wears down a Canadian leader even more. But Justin did stand up to Trump and won in the last round of trade negotiations with America.

Fell flat on his face in the Meng Wanzhou, affair, however. The Michaels were clearly targeted because of their American connections - one with the Democrats the other seriously tied to the Republicans. Lawful and legitimate targets for the Chinese, they fit perfectly into the requirements - influential Canadian citizens who were very close to American politicians and under the American State Department umbrella. Justin knew (or should have known) that, and he fell right into an American cesspit that there was absolutely no good way out of for Canada.

Methinks also his Catholicism and the political fighting between the Pope and China at the time had something to do with the animosity, as well. Really, selecting as the Canadian ambassador to China, a devout Roman Catholic official who is a staunch supporter of and even leader in the Roman Catholic Church bid for domination of the world religious order, during this crucial time? Smells entirely of Justin putting his religion ahead of sound international diplomacy. China never got over that slight, and held it over Justin and Canada ever since. China hit Canada hard, economically, for that.

The world has changed since he was first selected as PM, and the new era requires a different leadership style. A ‘just watch me’ decisiveness of his dad, but without the arrogance. Carney has that style. When he lead the Bank of Canada and the Bank of England, he got things done while outmaneuvering the politicians. And he understands more than any other world leader today about how money and the economy work. A ‘social responsibility conscience’. we will have to wait and see, but that is what the Green party is for.

Just to put this in perspective, Loblaws profits are going up.

https://ca.investing.com/news/transcripts/earnings-call-transcript-loblaw-companies-q1-2025-sees-revenue-growth-dividend-boost-93CH-3984595

What are they doing with this profit? Not helping Canadian farmers and producers. that is for sure.

“The company announced a 10% increase in dividends and repurchased $457 million in shares.”

They are buying back their own shares. Potential investment money gone to waste.

The Americans are an adversarial us-vs-them society. There always has to be a loser in the American culture.

From that article,

"He [Carney] announced a $6-billion purchase of over-the-horizon radar systems from Australia in March as part of the government’s ongoing NORAD modernization project.’

A NORAD radar.

From Australia.

That just HAS to sent the Americans a message about Carney’s thinking towards the Americans.

Actually, it was the Canadian soldiers that marched through Italy; the Canadian soldiers that marched north to Denmark and protected the American flank; the Canadian landing at Juno beach which not only protected the American flank, but pushed further and faster, greeting the American troops as they finally pushed off of their beachhead; the Canadian top command that developed the more efficient ways of fighting a modern battle, especially the results learned from the essentially Canadian Dieppe raid (which WAS successful, the Canadians got off the beach and made it to the post office for what they went for); the Canadian scientists that worked on the development of the Atomic bomb long before the Manhattan Project, and went on to establish Chalk River; the Canadian merchant marine that kept Britain supplied during the war… the list goes on and on. You do not need to be a tankie, just a good student of Canadian history.

Unfortunately for our Canadian legacy, we do not brag.
