My thoughts exactly. Itβs all devolved into savage economic darwinism. Giant corps wonβt stop until they own literally everything, and even then, it likely wonβt be enough. It truly is a cancer on society. Itβs not like I want to abolish capitalism, Iβm no tankie, but when does the greed stop? Thereβs a reasonable limit somewhere, but apparently in the minds of the corporate overlords:
Iβm not an economist, but what is the endgame here? Eventually, in their ideal delusions, every household has their own subscription. How do they intend to fuel growth then? Just more price increases? I donβt understand this extreme capitalism. Canβt a business just be happy to be profitable? Why do they focus so much on indefinite growth like some kind of tumor?
I love the tactile feeling of writing on paper.
Isnβt that also referred to as Virtual Intelligence vs Artificial Intelligence? What we have now Iβd just very well trained VI. Itβs not AI because it only outputs variations of whatβs it been trained using algorithms, right? Actual AI would be capable of generating information entirely distinct from any inputs.
I think I could count the number of porn posts Iβve seen in the last month on one hand. Where do they claim all of it is coming from? I wouldnβt mind more porn tbh.
The insane greed is something I simply canβt comprehend. Isnβt there a point at which itβs enough? It seems almost like a mental illness. Indefinite growth and infinitely increasing profit margins arenβt possible. Thereβs a limit to value and possible revenue. I donβt know where all of this is going, but it canβt be anywhere good, and Iβm sure it will be violent. I seem to be in the minority, but I absolutely believe there is a point where a person has enough wealth and doesnβt, perhaps even shouldnβt, have more.
βOkay, so itβs the 41st millenium and thereβs this guy called The Emperor. He doesnβt have a name, heβs just The Emperor and heβs the most powerful psychic in the galaxy. Heβs also a skeleton thatβs barely even alive sitting on a giant physic-amplifying throne. You see, what happened is that around the 30th milleniumβ¦β
