No, but here are my tips, I feel my time management skills came from being forced to navigate bad city transit as a young child alone.

  1. Get a watch and look at it a lot. Time yourself doing various things, especially meditating. Soon enough you will be able to naturally ‘know’ when 15 minutes has passed. I give myself 22 minutes to get ready in the morning and I basically know what sort of delays could arise and I make time for them and adjust if I’m taking too long doing a certain thing.
  2. When possible, use your voice. As in the old adage “don’t let your mouth write a check your ass can’t cash”. If you are not totally sure if you can mitigate delays, adjust the time you tell people you will be arriving and give yourself more time or warn people you may be late as soon as you know. Obviously, for certain things the arrival time is not negotiable.
  3. Try not to rely on others when possible, including public transit, cars, etc. Also of course not always possible, but generally walking and biking are less prone to delays. Use map apps constantly.

it’s 2024, no one is forcing you to listen to the mainstrem. there are so many choices out there, youtube and soundcloud still has great new stuff and non-anglo too. the streaming services however are the worst. with translation apps and stuff the world is your oyster. don’t forget soulseek too. check out the album ‘dunya’ by Mustafa for something a little different, still English though.

orthodox marxists. Kautsky before 1910 was not bad and he published a lot of Engels writings

not sure what country you are in, but in north america they are anything but decent. multiple sex pest scandals, bizarre cult like tactics to sell their newspaper, bullying members who don’t continually up their monthly tithe to the group, they are absolutely deranged tailist weirdos. they show up at every rally simply to hawk their zine. they don’t even support BDS or AES. they rebranded as the ‘revolutionary communist party’ here because the hatred of them got so powerful

Ah I see. It seems we are roughly on the same level, then. Thanks again.
