Same! It’s easy to pick it back up and start adapting to the slight adjustment to my home screen. I just need my snark subs to come back (yes I’m a terrible person) and I’ll be perfect.

I just created one called Rabbit Holes (idk how to tag them on here, perhaps !rabbitholes@lemmy.world ?) that is all about sharing engrossing content you like to read late at night to spook you out. You should check it out (and contribute if you have anything!). Figured I need to be the content I want to see in the lemmyworld.

Ask for the heated blanket. Tell them if you’re nervous (they have drugs for that!) and try to relax. The worst part is over (breaking the damn things) and soon you’ll have a cool scar.

Like £25k for a photography degree from 15 years ago. I moved to the US and paid bits of it back (it’s means tested so you just tell them what you earn and they base it on that). I’ve been ignoring their letters because idk, I don’t really want to pay it back? I remember the mandatory classes where we applied for ucas, so I feel like it’s on them for shoving 18 year olds through the loan system for profit.

I’m new here and quite liking it, but I have to say, the constant “it’s not working out” messages in these posts make me not want to engage as much. No one likes to invest in a downward trend.

Maybe the community needs to be a little more enthused, and it will keep newer folks around?
