All my time there, 13 actually. On the latter part of my stay. I found that I really get irritated, and sometimes angry because I see puns and one sentence reply that’s so overused but still get thousands of upvotes. And then the well thought of replying getting less than a hundred.

It’s all bots commenting and upvoting each other by the end.

And you just convinced me to delay my reddit account deletion by 1 week.

I must watch this with my own eyes, no matter what.

The only thing that makes me sad is we cannot take the years of knowledge stored in reddit with us. Some of those co tributors who posted valuable contributions are not active anymor or some has quietly passed away irl.

If reddit decides to wall their site, unviewable to non paid subscribers, then it will be like an end of a small scale civilization where poeple go back to basic living,

I hope in time we can rebuild the same kind of knowledge here.

Then they’ll be disappointed becaus some instances has a no porn policy (because of lack of mod tools).

Personally I can do with no porn. There’s lemmynsfw and other sites I can visit if ever I get the urge.

Without context. This is such a hilarious situation, it’s like, when a sitcom character whos role is to be the goof of the bunch, asks his friends this question and he’s serious and frantic.

Good luck with that. Knowing were the exodus has come from. We can start vetting the new users but this is not proven effective.

Malicious reporting can also become a problem if we start being trigger happy on banning users.
