This is what I do:
- Buy a perpetual license to the content I want (usually on Prime or Microsoft Store)
- Pirate it and load it onto my PLEX server.
This is the only way I can actually have control over the content that I fucking paid for. If that makes me a thief, then so be it.
Of course, this only works for PPV content. I generally just don’t watch content that’s available via streaming subscriptions only. I never paid for cable and I’m not paying for cable 2.0.
Welp, just canceled that subscription. They can fuck right off.
I briefly considered splurging on this one and buying at launch. Checked the reviews this morning and was reminded why I never do that anymore.
My heart goes out to the victims of this terrible tragedy and I look forward to the preliminary and full reports from the NTSB so we can learn from this loss of life and ensure it doesn’t happen again.
Trump is such a performative shitstain and his populist ilk can fuck right off. To place blame for an accident while bodies are still strapped to seats in the water is abhorrent. The NTSB is amongst the foremost investigative bodies in any domain, full-stop. Let them do their work and they will provide answers. Of course, this becomes more difficult if the sitting POTUS is a self-serving piece of shit that will politicize ANYTHING he can to maintain power.
Yuck 🤮
The consumer GPU market is becoming a dystopia at the top end. AMD has publicly retreated from it and Intel is likely a decade away from competing there. I guess I’ll stay in the midrange moving forward. Fuck Nvidia.
😞
Altman and his ilk are so full of shit. Even the name of their company is incredibly ironic and insulting.
I empathize. But Roe v Wade was never a super-precedent and while I support abortion, I (and many legal scholars) found flaws in the notion that a fundamental right to privacy is located in the 14th amendment and that that right extends to abortion. This is why I think it was a mistake that Democrats didn’t codify abortion rights when they had the chance in 2008.
EA stopped innovating years ago and became a games monetization shop. You reap what you sow.
Even Costco’s shareholders are based. Love it.
