I doubt your typical apple user will use the usb port for anything other than charging.
If they are going to improve transfer speeds it’s not going to happen in the same iteration they’re being made to switch to usb c for two reasons:
- They want to incetivise users to upgrade to a newer model 16
- They will want to take credit for faster speeds. Otherwise people will think usb c is just faster than lighting they were stuck with for years.

Anything with any computing power an internet connection can be a target. It will likely become a part of a bot net used to ddos, spam, or crack passwords. In addition, it’ll give hackers access to any accounts you’re logged in to, such as apple ID, email bank etc, so it could be further used to steal your identity or money.
Because it’s so old and full of vulnerabilities, it makes it an easy target. If it gets hacked, it’ll most likely be automatic process, without any intervention from the hacker, and there may be no signs that the device is infected.
Beach, swimming, hikes…
I would rather nickname it 'raff
Hard to tell without knowing the specs. If it doesn’t offer improvements over 7pro, the 7 is a much better deal. The article doesn’t really provide the value information to make form an opinion.
Do you understand what cache is and why you want it cleared?
Do you want to re-download everything every time you start the app? Cache is there for a reason, and the reason is usually to speed things up. The only reason you typically need to clear it is when it gets corrupted and bugs out the app.
I actually cleared the cache the only one time a few days ago because images weren’t showing. Other than that you may want to clear it when you’re low on storage space but because app cache is stored separately from app storage, the os will clear it for you when you need space.
If you keep cleaning cache, you will use up more bandwidth, more cpu power and more battery.
