“If you were able to overlook a genocide and cast a vote for Harris, you already know how a conservative was able to overlook Trump’s extremism and vote for him.” – Historian Robin D.G. Kelley

Direct message

I don’t so I didn’t vote for him. But I wasn’t going to vote for the party that enabled the past 400 days of genocide and then sent Bill Clinton to explain to voters in Michigan how 40,000 dead Palestinians is not enough, either.

Not really crazy, just high school physics

racecars use it but in the opposite direction, which is why the faster they go the more they stick to the ground

Defending the economy when we all know our paychecks are shrinking relative to rising costs wasn’t a wise move by the Democrats. The Republicans didn’t offer any sane and sensible solutions, scapegoating immigrants is absurd, but they acknowledged that the economy isn’t doing well for a lot of people and that actually resonated with many.

A millennia old Arabic saying goes something like: “If you honor the generous, you will own him… but if you honor the ignoble, he will rebel.” We all know leading through example is wasted on people like Trump.

The Babylon Bee is unfunny right wing trash, but the Democrats walked right into this one. You can’t tell us Trump is a threat to democracy and then peacefully transfer power to him.

The Democrats had 4 years to do something about it and didn’t. “Vote for us or else” is not a long term strategy, all it takes is losing one or two elections.

Genocide is a redline for me, though I understand why to many Harris voters the mass slaughter of people halfway across the world is a non-issue.

Other countries are reporting different and positive results. I think this is the kind of thing that we will see the outcome of decades later. It will be interesting to see how much of the perceived negative impact is due to ingrained racism and xenophobia especially in the West.
