I don’t know if it’s possible from a technical standpoint, but it’d be great if it was a toggle that you could set to not see downvotes on your own posts or comments.

I find myself posting more constructive dissent here than on Reddit because I don’t get discouraged from hive mind dog piles.

The effect would be similar for those content creators.

I think 4 is supposed to be a very offensive number because it rhymes with death in Mandarin.

Like 13 in the west, they’ll sometimes skip the number for building floors and such.

Master baiting happens a lot on that show.

I don’t think your assumption is accurate. They famously started shooting at a government because they taxed them a little more than they wanted to be taxed (to pay for a war we started).

The founders thought they inoculated us against tyranny in 1776.
