Like obviously he deserves much worse, but the revelation that he’s just a racist old man who barely has context and is being shuffled from one appointment to another made me feel a little bad. We should institute a forced retirement age, seriously.
Something that can fight solo, but with my social skills maxxed out. Picked up this habit because of Bioware RPGs I’m sure, because I didn’t want to miss dialogue options but I also didn’t want the game’s boss fights or sections where you don’t have party members to completely screw me over. Jedi Guardian in KOTOR, Paladin in Baldur’s Gate, Guns/Medicine/Speech in Fallout, etc.
In MMOs I play tank all the time every time. Why? Because the tank is inarguably the protagonist of the party. Every other player is a member of the supporting cast, following ME as I go on my epic adventure. The instant dungeon queues are nice too.
Brudda my very simple point is that if you haven’t spent a significant amount of time working with electric/induction - as you have with gas - then you can’t confidently make the assertion that you’re making. Every single thing you mentioned except for the burners working during a power outage is an issue that you might not have if you spent the time getting used to it, and in this case the effort required to get used to it will literally add years onto your life because you’ll be huffing fewer toxic fumes.
It would be so funny if, after all this, Netanyahu ends up getting couped because the IOF is only willing to fight civillians and lob artillery over the border.

Okay, but have you done a similar amount of cooking on induction as you have on gas? Have you been in a professional kitchen where all of the appliances used electric? Have you actually ruled out that gas is better or is it just your totally unscientific preference?
I was a professional cook too before I left that toxic ass industry, btw.
The gas stove thing is so wild to me. I grew up using them exclusively, but the first time I cooked on an electric stove it was exactly the same except ten thousand times faster and easier to clean. I can’t imagine ever going back, I might as well get a wood burning stove and live in a log cabin or some shit if I’m gonna use gas again.
And it’s not that I don’t appreciate other cooking methods - I grill with lump charcoal whenever I get the chance - but damn for daily cooking glass is class.

I actually started on Hexbear as just SSJMarx way back when /r/cth was banned, and I’ve gone through SSJ2 and a few other usernames that I switch every couple of months for opsec. I did the lemm.ee account for a while to try and diversify my feed, but after doing it for two or three months I decided that being able to see .world was making my lemmy experience worse and not better and came back.
