Nintendo is estimating that about 12.5 million Switches will be sold in 2024. Previously, Nintendo predicted that the Switch would sell 13.5 million for the year. That means that the demand for the Switch is dropping off a bit faster than they expected but it is still selling.

Uncharted and Last of Us are first party Sony games. If they were to say that a game can still be enjoyable without cutting edge graphics no one would want to buy the latest PlayStation iteration.

Maybe, but I could see the Celtics falling short due to lack of size. Even when everyone is healthy, the Celtics front court tends to be one big player and two small forwards. Not that they have much of a choice since their two best bigs are Horford, who is too old to play for long stretches, and Porzingis, who is injury prone. In the playoffs last year, the Celtics struggled to contain dominant bigs like Bam.

How is Nintendo using emulators news? All the virtual console games and “Classic” systems run an emulator. It would not be too surprising if Nintendo ported their in-house emulator to run on Windows.

It probably means that they are going to keep using the Switch Online backend for their next console. Why throw away working friends lists and online matchmaking?

Or it is news about the publisher of a popular (outside of the hobby) game.

According to them, they registered a Super PAC to run this promotion. As a Super PAC, they were able to buy data about voters (did the voter vote in the last election and, separately, predicted party affiliation based on profiling).

How does the Musk part work? Musk launched a petition to pledge support for guns and free speech (I think that is what it is about, I did not read it nor understand how that is a petition). To AstroTurf support for the petition, he set up a referral code system. If you get a voter in a key state to sign the petition and say that you told the voter to sign, Musk’s Super PAC will pay you $47.

Getting people to sign Musk’s petition feels a bit wrong, even if the money is going to what CAH thinks is a good cause.
