I actually think both Maher and Cryer have good points.

And no, not all republicans hate black women and trans people. There are black women who are republicans and there are trans people who are republicans.

The election shows that. Dems, and Lemmy, are clueless to that. Now they are learning the hard lesson of it.

Well you know, not everyone does or even has to believe what you believe. More than half of the country likes Trump. Even if you don’t. And that’s ok. It’s called diversity. To shun them or call them names just because of that, shows your ignorance, not theirs.

Good point. I think shunning anyone just because their political beliefs are different is ridiculous. Many Lemmy users seem to brag about shunning others because of that though.
