Looks like Paw Patrol let the domain expire without updating their packaging, and someone snatched it up to host porn.
I have the same situation in Edmonton. Concrete builing, and my ‘office’ is an internal room with no windows. The solution was to get a carrier that had a VoWIFI service. Telus has one but it’s custom and only works with certain phones IIRC, so I ended up going with Virgin. All I needed to do was register my account for it (free), and now I never miss a call/SMS when I’m not near an external window.
There’s too many services that still rely on SMS (password OTP, food delivery, etc) to live without it.
I’m sorry, but the only people stupid enough to be influenced by political ads, are the same people stupid enough to vote without doing any thinking for themselves.
If you like Pepsi better than Coke, no tv spot or magazine spread is going to change your mind. Honestly I have a really hard time justifying most of the money people spend on advertising, other than it keeps people in advertising employed.
It doesn’t affect us day-to-day no, but honestly I like being part of a ‘Commonwealth’. I like feeling like I have something in common with Australia, or New Zealand, or the UK, even if I’ve only ever been to the UK for a few hours.
Your family name (for most people, unless you’re George Hitler) has no impact on your day-to-day, this to me seems like saying “We should just get rid of family names!”
The chart here: https://www.macrotrends.net/countries/CAN/canada/population-growth-rate shows a steady growth rate over the past 70 years. Like you said, that’s not a sustainable model for anything, including housing.
People really need to quit with the ‘single family home with a white picket fence’ bullshit and get more comfortable with medium/high density housing.
