No, it was in fact because Lula and PT are doing the same economic plan of bolsonaro in slow motion and with negligible tax rate increase to the bourgeoisie, so they allowed him to take power with US help as they are allied to the US. The bourgeoisie factions who helped the coup stayed without major support and it failed. They are the “lite” right-wing preventing the left from doing anything.

Inflation in Russia is only high if considering what neoclassicals/monetarists/neoliberals think about inflation. But this school of economics is not always dominant outside the western world and was imposed as part of its washington consensus economics, the cold war dictatorships such as Chile and Brazil, by the IMF, and by intellectual/theoretical colonialism and right-wing/libertarian NGOs. As an example, marxist economists (in terms of what is traditionally seen as macroeconomics, planned economy) and especially developmentalist economists are dominant in Brazil in universities (although the landowner/financial oligarchy and the army restricts them from getting in power as Brazil is a US colony in disguise), and in fact developmentalism is common in latin america. MMT has seen a growth in other countries.

Because they don’t want to mobilize as Russia is neoliberal. Russia has an independent central bank. If putin was so dictator and powerful like the West says, be would have already done that. The only people benefiting from this war are private Russian military companies. Russia should mobilize and wipe out the Ukrainian army, close the borders with the US and Japan with amassed troops, and prepare for a world war.

Will their central bank be statized or “independent” (rentier-instrumentalized)?

1- Clearly a right-wing liberal sociologist, common in anglophone countries but treated with scorn in sociological talent pools; Latin-America and western europe

2- Now the idea is that there will be no economic crash but “overheating”? According to who? Monetary neoliberal economic “orthodox mainstream” anglophone universities?

3- Who the fuck analyzed the military stock numbers? American military generals?

4- Why the hell is he shifting the peace rhetoric to gain time to Russia? Intellectual dishonesty at its best
