I don’t know. I’ve been applying for jobs for seven years online, and I haven’t gotten a fucking thing.
I have 30, 20, 15, and 10 years of experience in the four major career fields I pursue, and I can never, not once not ever, get even a reply back, let alone an explanation as to why I wouldn’t fit the role.
Corporate greed. That’s the reason. Has this been some great mystery for the last three or four decades? Because that’s always been the answer.

Child mortality was only so high because child labor was in widespread use around the time that Social Security was first implemented.
Yet, Social Security was established around the same time as the end of child labor in this country. It took a few decades to correct (then, lengthened further with the advancements in medical technology), but the laws never kept up.
And all enacted by our first Democratic socialist president who was so popular, he helped pass the constitutional amendment to limit presidential terms so that he didn’t have to serve a fourth time…
… polio is a real motherfucker. Thankfully, he was one of the last generation to ever suffer from it in their developed world.
I have shucked, literally, thousands of oysters, and I’ve never seen one that looked anything close to this. If anyone has any more information or a Wikipedia link or something, I’d like to see it, but this strikes me more as some sort of “food parody” made out of wax, paraffin, and fondant
It has been my experience that, yes, the user experience of DuckDuckGo is far superior to that of Google, but, DuckDuckGo doesn’t always provide the precise results. I’m looking for. I can still get the information, but it takes a little bit more work.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m definitely not shilling for Google. Their search engine has definitely gone to shit in the last 5 to 8 years. But DuckDuckGo simply doesn’t have the incredible precision that Google can if it’s properly used.
