I’m an overseas American and I am not voting because it would be a bizarre waste of time. Not only would I be voting by mail in a solidly blue state but if votes by mail ever determined an election there would be a coup.

IMO the app Everything is necessary if you want to search through your files on Windows 11. Typing in the name of a program I know I have and the first item being “web search” drove me nuts.

I think the folks who gave me some books can have a camping trip in a marsh.

The teacher is hoping the rest of the class will socially punish the disrupting student in some way. They are doing this because teacher have no means of punishing students other than this and scolding.

Feels like this will encourage some pretty weird posting habits. If the block doesn’t stop them from seeing you it means you can abuse people and block them, and be reasonably confident they can see that abuse, and cannot respond back.

I don’t know how trans friendly it is, the city is sort of low violence and low animosity in general so it is hard to tell, but Shanghai seems okay.

If you want to assimilate you’d have to learn the language. But if you get stuck in the immigrant circles, very few of them are Americans, they all left after covid and won’t come back.

Shining moon has a few more than 180, I think and was fairly pleasant to play. But so much of the content is meant for groups and knowing how to gear requires like some truly arcane knowledge.
