I was blown away when he said aborting babies after birth. that’s not abortion, it’s murder. in my mind if I have a candidate that is so blatantly ignorant of fundamental facts, he shouldn’t even be on the ballot. yet millions of people will vote for him

I use syncthing for this purpose all the time. I seemlessly move from my work PC, home PC or laptop. I sync my data directories and most of my config settings. some are different per system (monitors, etc). 10/10 highly recommend

check where your retirement and savings are invested. buy a low cost index fund (fidelity and vanguard have great ones).

do not invest in any funds that have high fees. (there are plenty of good funds with fees around 0.1%)

I split my savings between:

• total domestic stock index
• total international stock index
• cash/money market/bonds
• a small amount in a sector fund with higher growth potential (e. g. tech) or risky investments

if they’ll cheat with you, they’ll cheat on you

also if you’re married and spouse goes back to work, make sure you get the withholdings correct. otherwise it’s a hefty chunk you’ll owe April 15th
