I joined it with a fake account so I could check it out and immediately left once I realized there isn’t a place to just see the people I chose to follow. I was being bombarded by so much shit that it was just an awful time.

This is exactly my stance too. I’d love to try this game, but I’d be buying it just for it to not work soon. Seems like a poor financial decision to me.

I don’t get the appeal of Threads, even if it wasn’t run by Zuck. There’s no Followed tab, you see literally everyone unless you decide to mute everything you do t want (which is a lot), and the search sucks. Oh, and it’s not in chronological order.

I play 99% of my games without sound honestly. I only have time to play games in the evening, and I can’t focus on the sound if there’s other sound around me (like my wife talking or my son doing his toddler babble), so I just mute every single game.

As someone who works in Level 2 and 3 Tech, the majority of people who do contact me are actual morons who legitimately think turning off and on their monitor is akin to rebooting their PC. I know that has been memed to death, but it’s true. I’ve legitimately had to make a whole presentation on the various ways to restart a computer and present it to a group of about 20 people.

I have so many stories to the point where, if I don’t treat everyone like it’s their first time touching a computer, it will lead to the user getting pissed off because I didn’t tell them that they had to left click on their mouse because they’re so used to their phone being touch screen that they assumed that every screen was.

Eh, only around 60TB or so of media. Definitely not as much as some people over on DataHoarders, but plenty more than then vast majority of people.
