I think the person you’re replying to is being facetious or at least centric based on your comment. Saying no good guys, alluding to the fact that the actors involved are all guilty of atrocities in some way. Not that they’re trying to be “politically correct”, but then again, I could be entirely wrong… ¯\_༼ •́ ͜ʖ •̀ ༽_/¯
The fallout that proceeded the presidential election in 2016. Will be regarded as one of the most significant turning points in American history and political culture. Combine a narcissistic sociopath (Trump) and a global communication platform (insert SV social media company/service). The result is a base of unremarkable individuals who lives revolve around them and their entitled “rights”, and anyone that disagrees is automatically the enemy.
Certain States allow you to attach your Gmail to your literal identity. Allowing quick authorization to sensitive information. It’s interesting in concept, but dystopian in application. At least in the United States. Alphabet and the federal government shaking hands is somewhat unsettling.
It’d be great if the federal government invested in proprietary capital instead of just dumping money into Private Corp. I guess that’s capitalism for you, but that’s just getting off topic now.

The problem with DLC, is that content is undifferentiated. Meaning things like skins, music, artwork, etc. Are in the same boat as new zones/maps, characters, equipment, etc. Publishers use FOMO by bundling cosmetics with actual ‘new’ experienceable content.
