I don’t know where you are. That is irrelevant. Fucking Sealand felt the results of 2016 and 2020. Maybe nothing changed that you noticed, but I would bet everything I have that it changed things. Be it UK, EU, RU, CCP, DPRK, SK, India, the entire Middle East and Egypt, South Africa, the Republic of Congo or many other African nations allll the way to places like Moldova or Sudan - the US elections did affect you, in ways that might not have been obvious.

I have to agree here. My father was a very well educated man. He has parts that he designed and manufactured by himself in the Smithsonian Aeronautical Museum, as well as parts that he designed and manufactured in the Hubble.

In the end, the fall of this intelligent man was Fox News. It is a brain worm. I loved him dearly, but the combination of conspiracy and hatred consumed him in the end. The last time I saw him, he asked to see his son. I will never recover from this.

You have every right to criticize. I really and truly do empathize with what you are saying, believe it or not. You never advocated for Trump. Things are just very tense here in the US. That isn’t an excuse, but maybe an explanation for our overall behavior.
